Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description A large and well-established financial services company with $4 billion in revenue is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for growth in a supportive environment with excellent benefits, bonus potential, and an almost fully remote arrangement, 1 days onsite a week in central San Diego and the rest remote. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and processing accounts payable records, generating reports, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Accounts Payable Specialist (temp, possibly to hire) Key Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate payments Identify any accounting irregularities Assist with general ledger reconciliations Process and distribute checks Generate monthly account current statements and booking reports Reconcile and correct discrepancies between company records Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma, bachelor’s degree a plus 2+ years AP experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with accounting software or ERP systems Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay: $25-28/hr (based on experience) Strong bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, volunteer time off, PTO, holidays, and more Career growth opportunities within a thriving, well-established organization.
