Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs through initial interviews and ongoing assessments.
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions, guiding discussions that foster healing and personal growth within individual and group settings.
\n
• Monitor client progress closely and adjust intervention strategies as needed to meet short-term and long-term therapeutic goals.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers to ensure holistic care for your clients.

• Provide follow-up consultations for clients who have been hospitalized, collaborating with inpatient care teams to ensure continuity of care.

• Assist clients’ families in understanding mental health challenges, promoting skills to support their loved ones during the recovery process.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans using electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering effective communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults of all backgrounds, presenting with a variety of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your work will significantly impact their journey towards recovery, helping to equip them with the tools to thrive emotionally and psychologically.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrable experience as a mental health counselor with proven success in clinical settings.
\n
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health issues as well as underlying medical and addiction conditions.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth counseling role is a plus.

• Experience working with diverse populations and addressing chronic mental health conditions.

• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary team collaborations enhancing patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
