Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s treatment goals and personal values.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to promote positive treatment outcomes.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Engage in collaborative care efforts with psychiatrists and medical specialists to deliver integrative services.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve your practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional growth.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, focusing on individuals dealing with mood disorders and their families. Qualifications\n

• Must have an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
