Senior Accountant

St. Louis, MO Full Time United States Experienced Serioplast , a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for a Senior Accountant in St. Louis, Missouri. What will you do? Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts receivable and payable transactions within the ERP system. Monitor customer accounts, manage non-payments and delayed payments, and perform active collection activities. Issue invoices to clients and support intercompany transactions. Plan and execute payments, manage cash-related activities, and ensure proper accounting registration. Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and fees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support tax calculations and declarations (corporate, labor, VAT, etc.) within required deadlines. Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial reports. Support the preparation of special financial reports through data collection, analysis, and summarization. Collaborate with the Administration and Finance Manager in researching and interpreting accounting and fiscal regulations. Prepare documentation for periodic audits. Support office management and administrative activities when required. What are we looking for? Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Good knowledge of taxation rules and regulations. Good understanding of manufacturing business processes. Excellent applied knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant in a manufacturing company or within a chartered accountant consultancy firm. Accountability, Problem-Solving, Resilience and Passion, Team Play.
