Accounts Payable Specialist (NetSuite Experience)

Position Overview Job Description Job Description Engine & Accessory, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to take full ownership of the accounts payable process. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our Controller by handling all day-to-day AP functions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite and can manage the full AP cycle independently, while working within an approval structure. Position Overview Engine & Accessory, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to take full ownership of the accounts payable process. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our Controller by handling all day-to-day AP functions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite and can manage the full AP cycle independently, while working within an approval structure. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and timely within NetSuite Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) Maintain and organize vendor records and documentation Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, credit cards) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues and payment status Full cycle AP process Willing to take on other responsibilities. Process & System Accuracy Ensure all transactions are coded correctly to pertinent GL accounts Assist in maintaining clean and accurate financial data in NetSuite Identify and help resolve inefficiencies in AP workflow Support internal controls and approval processes Support to Controller Assist with month-end close related to AP accruals. Provide reporting and backup documentation as needed Work under the direction of the Controller for approvals and process improvements Qualifications Required: 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience Required: Hands-on experience with NetSuite Strong understanding of AP processes and internal controls Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred High attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage high invoice volume efficiently Strong organizational and communication skills What We’re Looking For Someone who can own the AP process end-to-end Not just data entry — someone who understands how AP impacts the business Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight Able to prioritize and keep things moving without constant direction Company Description For over 75 years, Engine & Accessory, Inc. has produced innovative products and solutions to meet the demands of our customers and their industries.
