Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist - Campaigns & Dynamic Journeys
Location: Woodland Hills, CA or Remote (PST hours)

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to lead the design, execution, and optimization of personalized, data-driven marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in building complex, multi-channel customer journeys powered by dynamic content and Distributed Marketing.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing, with 4+ years of hands-on experience configuring campaigns and journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in SFMC tools (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, Personalization, Intelligence, and Distributed Marketing).
• Development Languages: Skilled in AMPscript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for data segmentation and dynamic personalization. API integration experience is a plus.
• Campaign Strategy: Proven track record in audience segmentation, multi-channel campaign orchestration, lifecycle marketing, and journey health monitoring.
• Analytics & Testing: Strong ability to track performance against KPIs, run A/B and multivariate tests, and translate data into actionable optimizations.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Key Responsibilities

• Journey & Campaign Execution: Architect and deploy multi-channel SFMC journeys aligned with client lifecycle strategies and Distributed Marketing initiatives.
• Dynamic Content Development: Build responsive email templates and scalable, reusable dynamic content blocks using AMPscript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Data Management & Automations: Execute targeted audience segmentation, list management, and data hygiene routines using SQL-driven automations.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track campaign health across email and SMS, troubleshoot execution errors, and present actionable performance reports to key stakeholders.
• Optimization: Continuously refine email templates, message logic, and journey flow through systematic A/B testing and performance analysis.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and IT teams to align automated journeys with overarching business objectives.

Preferred Skills & Tools

• Active SFMC Certification(s).
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce CRM (SFDC) data with SFMC.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR).
• Experience with email QA tools (e.g., Email on Acid), campaign tagging platforms (e.g., Claravine), or project management software (e.g., Aprimo).
• Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Intelligence (MCI), Adobe Analytics, or Einstein AI enhancements.
