Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history, performing physical assessments, and determining appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Communicate evaluation findings and create a personalized treatment plan, actively involving patients and their families in setting achievable goals.
• Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on the specific needs of patients, considering their unique presentations and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care, recognizing and documenting any changes in patients' conditions that require alterations to the plan of care.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring thorough documentation of patient interactions, evaluations, and treatments, thereby providing a clear record of the patient's journey through rehabilitation.
• Manage your schedule and meet productivity expectations while participating in hospital and community marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental goals through active engagement in quality improvement processes and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to expand both professional and organizational competencies, serving as a clinical instructor for students within the facility.
• Strive to deliver excellent customer service, ensuring great access to care and actively removing barriers to services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves a diverse population ranging from post-operative patients to individuals with chronic pain, injuries, or disabilities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia is mandatory.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
