Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed for optimal patient comfort and outcomes, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and treatment areas. The center operates onsite, providing the opportunity for direct patient interaction and collaborative team efforts. You will work a standard weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring consistency in your work-life balance while dedicating your expertise to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and objectives, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage an efficient caseload that typically includes treating one patient per hour, delivering personalized care that meets their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to improve patients' range of motion, reduce pain, and enhance mobility.
• Empower patients to be proactive in their recovery by motivating them throughout their therapy sessions and fostering a commitment to their rehabilitation programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment services provided, and outcomes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Promote overall wellness by developing and implementing individualized fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals covered by private medical insurance, focusing on patients who are recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. We work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes seeking to enhance performance and individuals on their route to recovery from joint replacements or injury. The goal is to provide comprehensive care that supports optimal function and long-term health.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and creating effective exercise regimens.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, as is familiarity with injury rehabilitation and patient management techniques. Candidates who have worked in sports medicine environments or have a background in enhancing athletic performance will be particularly well-suited for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
