Position Overview

Masuda Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our innovative orthopedic outpatient practice located in Herndon, Virginia. This role is integral to our mission of guiding patients on their journey to recover mobility and enhance their function. As a Physical Therapist, you'll employ your expertise in patient promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to significantly improve the quality of life and movement potential for each patient.

Our team currently consists of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all committed to delivering remarkable patient care. We focus primarily on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring a tailored and accessible treatment experience for every individual who walks through our doors.

Work Environment

This full-time position entails working onsite in a vibrant and collaborative outpatient setting. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their goals, challenges, and treatment requirements.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, generally treating one patient per hour to provide focused care.
• Design and execute individualized care plans that employ a wide array of treatment techniques tailored to meet patient-specific needs.
• Offer comprehensive education and motivation to patients, reinforcing their engagement and commitment to their treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based practice to ensure quality outcomes and improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure seamless communication.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of services rendered to guide future treatment and measure progress.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and adapt as necessary to meet ongoing patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our orthopedic outpatient practice, we primarily cater to patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sports-related issues. Our focus on evidence-based treatments allows us to minimize reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical interventions, instead promoting alternative solutions to support holistic recovery strategies. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Herndon, VA with a clean record, ensuring there are no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated competence in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of physical therapy principles.
• Ability to create and conduct tailored exercise regimens for diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist specifically within an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience in utilizing various therapeutic modalities and exercise techniques to achieve patient-specific goals.
• A background in patient education and community wellness initiatives would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
