Work Environment

This full-time position requires the Physical Therapist to work onsite, providing hands-on therapy within a supportive and friendly clinic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Skillfully assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Manage an average caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and tailored attention to each individual.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to restore movement and functionality.
• Implement cost-effective interventions to enhance range of motion and mobility, while also educating patients on non-surgical treatment options.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that address specific rehabilitation goals and promote overall health.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary while maintaining open communication regarding their outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory guidelines and best practices.
• Motivate and empower patients in their rehabilitative journey through encouragement and support for positive lifestyle changes.
• Engage in regular consultation with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, allowing a steady stream of individuals who are seeking relief from orthopedic injuries and conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintained a clear professional record, free from disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Background in sports medicine or rehabilitation services will be considered an asset.
• Adeptness in patient evaluation techniques and treatment outcome assessments.

Compensation and Benefits
