Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions by reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and formulating detailed treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises and modalities tailored to individual patients.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, fostering a collaborative environment for goal-setting and decision-making.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, staying updated with current best practices to adapt therapies based on the patients' progress and changing needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding patient care activities, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by consulting with other healthcare providers when necessary to adapt treatment plans based on observed changes in patient conditions.
• Participate in community outreach and hospital marketing activities to promote awareness about our services and empower access to care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• State licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia, with ongoing compliance to regulatory requirements.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
