Role: Leads neonatal ICU nursing team, manages staff, oversees patient care, and ensures departmental operational goals are met. Manages hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of staff. Develops and monitors staffing plans, budgets, and productivity metrics. Coordinates and delivers patient care tailored to neonatal needs, documenting according to policy. Creates collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Supervises staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including staffing adjustments and disciplinary actions. Ensures staff productivity aligns with departmental goals.
