Program Coordinator I (S) Position Number: 60031386 • Grade: NC08 Responsibilities Service customers at the Raleigh Central Services office in registering their vehicles in the state of North Carolina. Issue official, special, and personalized license plates, crash reports, and vendor records for driving or vehicle registration, observing the Federal Privacy Act guidelines. Accept payments for driving license penalties, fees, and related transactions while balancing a cash drawer. Perform technical and administrative tasks requiring extensive knowledge of General Statutes, policies, and procedures governing the issuance of North Carolina titles and other credentials. Execute other duties assigned by the manager as required for the functionality of the unit. Qualifications and Experience Preferences Experience with a personal computer and mainframe database. Experience operating equipment such as calculator, workstation laser printer, fax machine & copier. Experience recording, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data. Experience examining titles and reviewing information to determine compliance with applicable laws, rules, or regulations to resolve complex or special processing matters. Experience explaining and interpreting policies, regulations, and programs. Ability to balance a cash drawer. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary NC10; $43,267–$75,718.
