Our practice is owned by experienced physical therapists and is dedicated to providing high-quality treatment for patients predominantly covered by private medical insurance. Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our rehabilitation facility in Fresno. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a motivated team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative and professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing and understanding the unique needs of each patient to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific goals.
• Managing a caseload that typically involves treating one patient per hour, allowing for dedicated attention and personalized care.
• Utilizing effective and innovative methods to improve patients' range of motion and mobility, all while ensuring treatment is cost-effective.
• Collaborating with patients to explore alternatives to medication and surgery, thereby enhancing their quality of life through natural therapeutic interventions.
• Employing various physical therapy techniques to design comprehensive care plans, emphasizing patient-centered and evidence-based approaches.
• Creating customized fitness and wellness programs that meet the particular needs and abilities of each individual.
• Motivating and empowering patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their functional potential.
• Encouraging the adoption of a healthy, active lifestyle through targeted activities that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Documenting patient care services diligently, ensuring all progress and outcomes are recorded accurately.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient caseload will primarily consist of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries and conditions. These may include post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be to empower these patients, using your expertise to facilitate their recovery and enhance their overall physical function.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Absence of any disciplinary actions or board grievances on your professional record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques as well as competence in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

While a background in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, the most important quality is your commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to every patient. Experience with evidence-based practice and a strong emphasis on patient motivation and engagement will be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
