West Valley Physical Therapy Services is known for its commitment to providing top-tier care to patients primarily covered under private medical insurance. Our facility is strategically located in Fresno, California, and spans over 5,000 square feet, equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology. Our team consists of highly skilled professionals, currently including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions in an engaging and supportive environment.

Work Environment

As a Licensed Physical Health Therapist in our organization, you will work onsite within a collaborative outpatient setting that fosters teamwork and open communication. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to enjoy a balanced professional and personal life. Our facility is designed not only for effective treatment but also for the comfort and recovery of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their objectives and healthcare needs.
• Manage a patient load of one client per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic techniques to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance mobility and physical function while minimizing reliance on medications and surgeries.
• Promote a proactive approach to wellness by delivering tailored fitness and rehabilitation programs that encourage strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage in ongoing assessments of treatment efficacy, maintain detailed documentation of patient care, and facilitate clear communication of progress with both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Motivate and guide individuals through their therapeutic journeys, empowering them to realize their full functional capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will predominantly serve patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. This diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By understanding the unique needs and goals of each patient, you will provide specialized care that fosters healing and helps them return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualifications are preferred.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Clean credentialing record with no board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and development of exercise regimens.
• Expertise in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to maintain patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

We highly value experience and consider candidates who have:

• A background in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
• Previous roles that required managing individual care plans and patient outreach programs.
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical setting with a focus on quality patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
