Work Environment

This role will be primarily onsite at our Rehabilitation Facility in Clovis, providing you with a dynamic and engaging atmosphere designed to foster both teamwork and professional development. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, interpreting findings to craft individualized treatment plans.
• Establish treatment goals that are both achievable and aligned with the patients' needs, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.
• Implement and oversee treatment programs, delivering direct patient care while coordinating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress by regularly assessing clinical signs and symptoms, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery.
• Provide education and advice to patients and their families to promote understanding of treatment processes, self-management strategies, and preventative care.
• Facilitate discharge planning, ensuring patients transition smoothly from therapy and have the tools necessary for continued recovery.
• Document patient care activities and progress meticulously, maintaining high standards of record-keeping as required by organizational protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. You will engage with a diverse patient population, adapting your treatment strategies to suit various needs, backgrounds, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; candidates with higher degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are encouraged to apply.
• Possession of a current California Physical Therapist License, National Provider Identifier, and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, especially in a labor/management partnership context.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation experience or specialization in specific therapeutic techniques (such as manual therapy, sports rehab, or pain management) will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and rehabilitation technologies will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
