Waveplay Motion Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Fresno, California. This full-time role will play a critical part in helping our patients regain their mobility and enhance their functional capabilities through personalized and evidence-based care approaches. Work Environment

This position is onsite and requires presence in both our main facility and in-home care settings, making effective communication and collaboration essential. Our supportive work environment fosters teamwork, and we prioritize a culture of continuous learning and patient-centric care. You will work typical hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs and functional abilities to establish meaningful goals throughout their therapy journey.
• Maintain productivity by managing a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality time and attention for each session.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices, develop comprehensive care plans incorporating a variety of treatment techniques to address individual patient concerns.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that focus on improving mobility while minimizing reliance on medication and promoting alternative solutions.
• Engage patients by demonstrating exercises, providing encouragement and motivation to enhance motivation and compliance.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in EMR software, such as WebPT, to ensure an accurate record of patient progress and treatment actions.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to design and execute interdisciplinary care strategies for optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the effects of your treatments, continuously adjusting plans based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Foster a healthy lifestyle among patients by educating them on the importance of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Encourage and facilitate ongoing communication with patients about their treatment process to keep them engaged and informed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals receiving orthopedic care, including postoperative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California with a clean disciplinary record.
• Demonstrated ability in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong proficiency in designing effective, customized exercise routines for varying patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a focus on patient-centered care and functional rehabilitation.
• Previous engagement in managing a diverse patient load in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in sports medicine is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
