Work Environment

This position will be onsite, allowing for hands-on patient interaction and personalized care. Our home care setting enables therapists to deliver treatments in a comfortable environment tailored to individual needs. You will be part of a cohesive team that values collaboration and communication, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and identify their specific goals and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's objectives.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated attention to each case.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and therapies to facilitate recovery and improve patients' mobility.
• Educate patients on exercises and techniques designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
• Provide cost-effective treatment options that focus on maximizing patients' functional outcomes while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor progress, and modify care plans as necessary.
• Document patient progress accurately using EMR software, ensuring compliance with established protocols and guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, with a diverse range of conditions affecting their movement and strength. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain, making your role integral to their recovery journey. Your approach will emphasize patient-centered care, empowering clients to actively participate in their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing tailored exercise routines for varied patient needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Ability to implement innovative treatment modalities and customize wellness programs to address specific patient goals.
• A track record of successfully motivating patients throughout their treatment to achieve optimal outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience.
