In this full-time role based in Fresno, California, you will be instrumental in guiding our patients through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them to regain mobility and function. We specialize in outpatient therapy, primarily serving clients with private medical insurance, which allows us to focus on the highest standards of therapeutic practices. Our collaborative environment includes a team of three professionals: two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Work Environment

Our outpatient office is located in Fresno, California, a vibrant city known for its accessibility to outdoor activities and a diverse community. The facility is equipped with modern technology and rehabilitation tools, fostering an environment that enhances effective patient treatment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured day focused on patient interaction. Your role will primarily involve direct patient care within the clinic, where you will manage a caseload and collaborate with team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to establish individualized treatment goals and plans that align with their rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, providing focused, hands-on care and engagement throughout their treatment sessions.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment techniques aimed at enhancing patient mobility and functional capabilities.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to drive optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Encourage adherence to care plans by motivating patients to engage in their treatment and set realistic goals for improvement.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all treatment plans and sessions are recorded accurately within our EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to formulate and adjust treatment strategies, ensuring comprehensive care is delivered to each patient.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment approaches and modify them based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will tailor your approach to each unique situation, fostering a supportive atmosphere that promotes healing and rehabilitation. By utilizing various therapeutic techniques, you will help clients regain their strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to meet the standards of practice within California.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California with up-to-date knowledge of state regulations.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice with a clean professional record devoid of board actions or disciplinary measures.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting will be highly beneficial for success in this role.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop tailored therapeutic exercise regimens related to diverse patient needs are strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, particularly WebPT, will be advantageous for maintaining organized patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
