Work Environment

This position is onsite at our facility, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a warm and supportive atmosphere. You will work alongside two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), ensuring a highly collaborative and interconnected working environment. Our team utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and technology, ensuring that all therapists are well-equipped to provide peer-reviewed, proven methods of treatment and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Administer effective orthopedic physical therapy interventions to promote optimal healing and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Manage your patient load with a goal of serving one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives adequate time and attention during their sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide treatments while encouraging lifestyle adjustments that foster improved health.
• Educate and motivate patients on exercises and rehabilitation strategies to enhance mobility and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment provided, and modifications to treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care synchronization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will leverage your expertise to provide compassionate care that addresses the physical as well as emotional aspects of recovery, fostering a positive therapeutic relationship with your clients.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the state of California, with a clean record—no previous disciplinary measures.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated skill in manual therapy techniques and formulating effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with sports medicine practices or working with athletic populations.
• Background in devising comprehensive wellness programs tailored to patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
