Job Title Contingent Workforce Specialist Location San Jose, CA 95110 (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days) Contract Duration 12 months (Possible Extension) Pay Rate $40.00/hr. to $42.25/hr. on W2 Work Authorization Only USC or GC Responsibilities Provide operational support to the Contingent Workforce Program Team. Manage daily program activities and partner closely with internal teams and the managed service provider. Drive audit processes and handle special projects as needed. Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to manage day‑to‑day operations of the Contingent Worker Program. Support line managers with CW guidelines, policies, and procedures; monitor and approve new worker requests. Act as the first escalation point for contingent worker support and issue resolution. Work with key stakeholders to ensure streamlined worker onboarding and off‑boarding. Partner with internal teams on quarterly and project‑based efforts. Update process documentation and ensure processes are clearly communicated to stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Ensure client service and satisfaction in all areas of the position. Perform other duties as assigned. You’re Good At Developing relationships with various functions across the organization. Bringing a hands‑on approach when solving problems. You Have Demonstrated clear communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to convey complex details effectively at all organizational levels. Minimum of 2–3 years of contingent workforce, staffing or HR operations experience. Experience working in HCM, VMS and support systems; specific experience in Workday, VNDLY and ServiceNow preferred. Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills. High learning agility and ability to manage ambiguity. Workday and ServiceNow experience preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and professionalism. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities. High attention to detail and ability to recommend improvements. Proactive, organized, and prioritizes with limited guidance while delivering exceptional customer service. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
