Accounts Payable Specialist
Full-Time | Onsite | Greater Madison, WI Area
Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team.
This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, maintaining vendor records, processing payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting day-to-day financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments.
- Maintain vendor records, tax documentation, and payment information.
- Set up new vendors within the ERP system.
- Match purchase orders to invoices and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts payable aging and support payment scheduling.
- Process ACH, check, and electronic payments.
- Research and resolve vendor inquiries and payment issues.
- Assist with account reconciliations and reporting activities.
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential financial information.
