Licensed Massage Therapist for Advanced Bodywork

Pure Therapy is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our upscale wellness team in Matawan, NJ. We specialize in therapeutic, results-driven bodywork and are looking for a professional who is passionate about helping clients feel and function better—not someone who is simply “good,” but someone who is committed to excellence.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in deep tissue massage and advanced bodywork techniques, along with excellent communication skills, positive energy, and a warm, engaging personality. Our clientele values quality, professionalism, consistency, personalized care, and results.

Experience in the following is highly preferred, but will train the right candidate:

Barefoot bodywork

Traditional fire cupping

Manual lymphatic drainage

Post-operative lymphatic drainage

Abdominal massage/visceral manipulation

Body contouring and sculpting techniques

Candidates with experience in additional specialized modalities are encouraged to apply.

What We’re Looking For —

Current New Jersey massage therapy license.

Proven experience performing deep tissue massage and advanced bodywork.

Excellent massage technique, body mechanics, and client-care skills.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, contraindications, sanitation, and professional boundaries.

Experience working with post-operative clients is preferred.

A detail-oriented approach to every treatment.

A commitment to excellence, ongoing learning, and professional growth.

Reliable, punctual, polished, and professional presentation.

Outgoing, energetic, personable, and comfortable building client relationships.

Ability to listen carefully, assess client needs, and customize each session according to Pure Therapy protocol.

Strong communication skills and the ability to make clients feel comfortable and cared for.

Willingness to contribute to a team-oriented, positive, energetic environment.

This position is for full-time with a mix of daytime and evening hours, plus one weekend day required.
