Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will undertake a range of essential responsibilities:

• Direct physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring function, in accordance with each client's personalized plan of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ functional abilities using diagnostic tests, and make informed recommendations based on these assessments.
• Oversight of physical therapy assistants, ensuring they implement treatment plans based on your evaluations accurately.
• Evaluate clients' home environments to maximize rehabilitation and independence, providing modifications as necessary.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, including manual therapy techniques, traction, and physical agent applications, while motivating clients through their rehabilitation journeys.
• Regularly assess and adjust care plans, documenting progress in clinical records and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive treatment.
• Educate clients and their families on the use of therapy devices and self-care practices to support recovery outside clinical visits.
• Participate in case conferences to enhance treatment plans and ensure cohesive care delivery aligned with patient needs.

You will be instrumental in serving a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and mobility impairments. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid PT license in the state of New Jersey, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• CPR certification and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Experience
