Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, crafting individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage an effective caseload, offering personalized interventions based on the specific diagnoses and personal backgrounds of each patient.
• Deliver expert orthopedic care through tailored therapeutic exercises, aimed at restoring strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Prioritize functional movement restoration with an emphasis on non-surgical interventions, advocating for approaches that support holistic recovery.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment methodologies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based practices, integrating the latest research findings into patient care strategies to elevate recovery rates.
• Educate and motivate patients in their rehabilitation process, fostering a supportive and positive atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic health records using EMR software to ensure continuity of care and effective communication across health professionals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons and physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care plans that reflect interdisciplinary input.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical rehabilitation for joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. We emphasize individualized care plans that cater to diverse age groups and fitness levels, ensuring that each patient receives tailored support throughout their recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no prior sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and specific therapeutic exercises relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong understanding of functional movement assessments and rehabilitation protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective rehabilitation programs.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
