Physical Therapist Per Diem (PD) Shifts: Day shift; weekdays 8 am–8 pm and/or weekends 8 am–2 pm. Location: 60 Cooke Ave, Carteret, NJ 07008. Pay: $68.55 per hour. Job Overview The Physical Therapist provides ongoing evaluation and assessment of patients using standardized tests, measurements, and direct observation. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or DPT degree or certificate in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university. Certifications And Licenses Required Current license from the NJ State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Scheduling Requirements Shift working, weekday shifts varying between 8 am–8 pm and/or weekend shifts 8 am–2 pm. Per Diem (PD). Essential Functions Formulate objective treatment goals and plans to achieve goals. Modify goals and plans as needed. Provide medically prescribed treatment to outpatients. May be assigned to the hospital to provide inpatient care. Retain responsibility for the physical therapy of the patient being treated by the physical therapist assistant through direct supervision. Complete written or computerized documentation in the medical record as it pertains to the patient's status. Complete all other forms, documents, and letters as necessary. Participate in committees and meetings as assigned. Maintain knowledge of current laws and standards of practice as related to physical therapy. Participate in educational activities, including student supervision and provision of education on areas of expertise or interest. Contribute to hospital and community education within scope of knowledge as requested.
