Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, California. This full-time role allows for a primarily remote work setting, enabling you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your home while also being part of our supportive outpatient office environment. The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions in a bilingual (Spanish and English) context, providing personalized treatment plans based on clients’ unique backgrounds and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and EMDR to address various mental health issues.

• Engage in case management and coordination of care, working closely with external providers and community resources to facilitate comprehensive treatment.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment updates thoroughly and timely in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance short-term individual and group therapy skills.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations in the delivery of services and record-keeping practices.

• Act as an in-network provider with at least one insurance panel, ensuring access to care for clients covered by various health plans.

• Promote awareness of mental health issues and advocate for transformative practices within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients spanning different age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinic is committed to addressing the mental health needs of families, particularly those from culturally diverse backgrounds. You will provide support for various issues, including trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ concerns, and perinatal mental health, ensuring that each client feels understood and valued.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.
\n
• Proficient in both written and verbal bilingual communication skills to deliver psychotherapy services in English and Spanish.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, working with clients of various ages in a behavioral health context.
\n
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of clients.

• Familiarity with clinical documentation and EHR systems.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and current car insurance for occasional client meetings as needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• Training in therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, TF-CBT, or similar approaches.

• Experience specializing in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, or working with the LGBTQ+ community.

• Familiarity with insurance billing processes and experience as an in-network provider.
