Work Environment\n

This remote role allows for flexible work arrangements while still being integrally connected to a community-focused health clinic. You will work collaboratively with a compassionate team of mental health professionals, including the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, and Mental Health Director. Regular virtual team meetings will be held to facilitate communication and collaboration across our multidisciplinary approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments with new clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their psychological and emotional needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's goals and circumstances.

• Provide psychotherapy through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address diverse mental health challenges.

• Maintain meticulous documentation, including progress notes and transfer summaries, to track client progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Offer mental health consultations and training to facility staff, fostering a learning environment that enhances the overall quality of care provided.

• Engage in community outreach to identify and develop resources for preventive mental health services, contributing to overall community wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with individuals facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our approach emphasizes holistic care, integrating various therapeutic techniques to address the specific needs of each client within a supportive framework. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
