Associate Support Services Housekeeper - 1st Shift

Job Summary: This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
Work Schedule: First shift, with weekend and holiday rotations as needed. Part-time position averaging 18.75 hours per week. This opportunity is located in a regional healthcare facility within the Midwest area of the United States.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
- Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous related experience is advantageous.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
