Accounting Clerk

Job Title: Accounting Clerk Address: Atlanta, GA Job Description Perform a full range of accounting duties including accounts receivable, payable, and collection activities. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of transactions according to company policies and guidelines. Maintain systematic processing of accounts receivable, such as invoicing, posting payments, processing deposits, and preparing credit memos. Follow up on aging accounts over 30 days and contact clients regarding outstanding accounts. Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoicing, payments, and W-9 documentation, ensuring timely vendor bill approval and payment. Prepare and ensure accurate completion of month-end, quarterly, and year-end reports. Maintain billing and accounting files, ensuring confidentiality and security of financial information. Critical Information Work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, Pacific Time. Workplace type: In-person. No travel required. Likely start near the bottom of the pay range, with potential for hybrid work after training. Remote/hybrid flexibility may be available as training progresses. Education / Licenses Needed Proficiency in software programs such as Great Plains, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet. Ability to perform basic arithmetic and compute rates and percentages. Demonstrates high accuracy in financial data entry. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
