Seeking an experienced Tool & Die Technician to support our metal stamping and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and construction of dies, tooling, and related production equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with stamping presses, tooling systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, calibrate, and build dies, tooling, and related equipment throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on tooling, stamping presses, and support equipment.
• Ensure the safe operation, organization, and upkeep of all Tool Room equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Support production goals by providing timely and effective tooling solutions.
• Participate in safety, environmental, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete work assignments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship, Certificate of Qualification in Tool & Die Making, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Tool & Die, Tool Room, or Die Repair experience.
• Experience with metal stamping presses and related manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move throughout the facility.
• Full range of motion and manual dexterity required.
