Program Management Principal

The Role The Program Manager will support the F‑35 Training Production and Site Activation portfolio. Responsibilities include managing cost, schedule, and technical performance; executing program activities; leading program capture and proposal efforts; collaborating with program management, functional managers, engineering, production, and the customer; developing and executing program strategies, plans, and budgets; and fostering relationships across business areas. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Previous program management experience Full Spectrum Leadership skills; experience leading distributed and virtual teams including subcontractors Positive customer relationship building Business acumen, including EVMS and performance metrics Experience identifying and leading through program performance issues Risk and opportunity management Proposal management experience Active Secret clearance (US citizenship required) Desired Skills F‑35 management experience Ability to interface and present to senior and executive leadership Previous production and sustainment experience Previous proposal experience Knowledge of training sustainment, logistics, and supply chain management Experience with Lockheed Martin’s programs, policies, and procedures Certification in program management (e.g., PMP, PMI‑ACP) Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skillsStrong communication and presentation skills Team‑building and interpersonal skills; relationship building with customers and employees Security Clearance Requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance. Work Details Schedule: 4 days of 10‑hour shifts with 3 days off per week. Remote work is available part‑time on a telework schedule in coordination with Lockheed Martin facilities.
