Senior Actuarial Consultant, Large Account Pricing

Job Responsibilities Supports loss-rated and loss-sensitive casualty business across Commercial, including workers compensation, general liability, and commercial auto. Ensures guidance provided through various pricing and underwriting tools align with pricing review. Develops loss picks and technical premium for individual large accounts. Prices closeouts as requested. Monitors and improves usage of loss rating tool. Performs the annual profitability review and other portfolio-level analyses as needed. Interacts closely with business partners to explain technical pricing indications and complete other projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent. Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience. ACAS designation and may be working towards FCAS. Strong knowledge of core functions of an insurance company and actuarial and statistical concepts. Advanced actuarial technical expertise and product specific knowledge. Ability to effectively communicate and influence using analyses at various levels, including senior leadership. Experience building successful business partnerships. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve complex situations and issues. Solid project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and lead teams.
