Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM DayTimeTue 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM DayTimeWed 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM DayTimeThu 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM DayTimeFri 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to property management and/or public responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and high‑traffic areas, offering assistance with directions, reporting concerns, and supporting day-to-day property operations in a professional manner. Observe and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior in transit‑adjacent or waterfront access areas, following post orders and escalation procedures. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age (or 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles). Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
