Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.05 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 04:30 PM - 12:30 AM Wed 04:30 PM - 12:30 AM Thur 04:30 PM - 12:30 AM Fri 04:30 PM - 12:30 AM Sat 04:30 PM - 12:30 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions requiring attention. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to control access and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or authorized entry in accordance with site policies. Support daily operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, providing general information, and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
