Security Officer Patrol Access Support – San Francisco, CA As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Sat 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Sun 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery arrivals in support of site protocols, helping to report concerns and direct individuals according to location guidelines. Support day‑to‑day operations by preparing incident reports, relaying important information, and assisting with security‑related requests in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements CPR and First Aid experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
