As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun: 10:30 AM – 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report access control issues, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel. Support a professional environment by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and following post orders related to after‑hours activity, deliveries, and/or restricted areas. Minimum Requirements: A guard card and/or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
