Inside Sales Representative

Join a customer-focused sales support team where you will help keep the order process moving from initial inquiry through fulfillment. This role combines inside sales support, customer service, order coordination and cross-functional communication, offering hands-on exposure to the full customer order cycle in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Handle customer questions related to pricing, order progress, delivery timing, expedited requests and proof of delivery. Create quotations and verify pricing, product requirements, lead times and supporting details for accuracy. Prepare, review and enter customer orders, including order acknowledgements and packing documentation. Coordinate with planning and other internal groups to confirm material availability, production needs and expected delivery dates. Process order revisions, returns, credits, consignment activity and replenishment requests following established procedures. Develop specification documentation from customer requirements, samples or survey information. Maintain accurate customer, order and service records within applicable business systems. Follow up with customers after selected shipments or service issues and elevate quality, delivery or order concerns when needed. Support the sales function with customer follow-up, reporting, administrative coordination and related activities. Build productive relationships with customers and internal partners while providing responsive, professional service. QUALIFICATIONS 2-3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, order management or a similar customer-facing support role; manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales or a related discipline is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email and web-based business tools; ERP experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach. High attention to detail and accuracy when preparing quotes, entering orders and maintaining documentation. Ability to organize priorities, manage multiple deadlines and follow through in a fast-moving environment. Strong problem-solving, time-management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle challenging customer situations tactfully.
