Make an impact by supporting young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in a fulfilling contract position. Step into a vital role serving children ages 3 to 5, assisting their educational and developmental needs at a pivotal stage. This long-term substitute assignment is ideal for educators with a passion for early intervention and providing individualized support in a collaborative school environment.
This position offers flexibility, allowing for either full-time or part-time morning hours depending on your preference. The assignment begins at the end of August 2026 and is scheduled through late December, with possible extension if another staff member takes leave. You'll collaborate with other special education professionals and families to promote student growth and learning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement.
- Dual certification in view preferred.
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially with early childhood age groups.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to tailor instruction and interventions to meet diverse needs within a preschool environment.
- Must submit a current resume and teaching license PDF for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and support to children aged 3-5 with special needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress.
