Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each client.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and facilitating appropriate resources.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, while upholding ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying current with best practices in the field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Safe Place Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and more. Your work will directly contribute to improving clients' emotional wellbeing and equipping them with coping strategies to manage their daily lives effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Must be a licensed Mental Health Therapist with valid credentials as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively identify and address client needs.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health therapy is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
