Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Neuro Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts Shift Length: 12 hours Hours Per Week: 36 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: August 25, 2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540 Unit: Adult medical-surgical neuro unit with telemetry and oximetry monitoring Location: Tyler, TX 75701 Job Requirements 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submittal BLS certification required NIHSS certification required Experience with Epic charting required Previous travel nursing experience preferred Ability to care for adult patients with a 1:6 patient ratio Strong clinical skills in telemetry, stroke care, and neurological assessment Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult medical-surgical and neurological patients Monitor patients using telemetry and pulse oximetry for changes in condition Care for patients with stroke, TIA, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological diagnoses Perform ongoing assessments, administer treatments, and coordinate individualized care plans Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support recovery and positive patient outcomes Document patient care accurately in Epic while maintaining safe and efficient workflow during night shifts Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns appropriately Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job?
