Litigation Legal Assistant

$32 - $36 per hour

Seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for Plaintiff-side Personal Injury firm (onsite) in Downtown Chicago

Job duties:

Manage a large volume of cases (40-80)
3+ years of Litigation experience in Personal Injury
Liaise with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers
Coordinate with insurance adjusters and claims representatives to obtain authorization for medications, treatments, and surgeries for clients
Draft routine motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence
Prepare and compile specials for insurance carriers
Request clients’ itemized bills and medical records
Spanish fluency is a plus

Compensation:

Pay: $32/hr - $36/hr, DOE
Overtime opportunity available
100% company-paid medical, dental and vision benefits
