Work Environment

The work setting is primarily home care-based, allowing for individualized patient interactions in familiar settings, which facilitates stronger connections and often accelerates recovery. You'll be working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients, considering their medical history, functional limitations, and personal rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation progress.
• Educate patients about their condition and the proposed treatment plans, ensuring they are engaged and committed to the rehabilitation process.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities including progressive exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to optimize recovery.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on response to therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as required to provide comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will focus on a diverse group of patients primarily requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgical patients, individuals recovering from sports injuries, and those experiencing chronic pain. The personalized approach of home care often leads to improved adherence and faster progress, as patients can perform exercises within their functional environments.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions.
• Minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and developing tailored exercise regimens based on individual assessments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience practicing in a home care environment is highly desired.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

Our comprehensive salary package offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 based on experience, along with a robust benefits program.
