Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide acute emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment, delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing services. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective treatment, adhering to industry standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions rapidly and accurately to prioritize care.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as directed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient interactions and interventions clearly and thoroughly.
  
  
• 
  Float to psych hold areas when needed, ensuring safe and compliant care.
  
  
• 
  Participate in call rotation and mandatory overtime to maintain staffing coverage.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, including 1 year of prior travel ER experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work every other weekend and engage in call rotation.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
