This position will primarily involve providing telehealth services alongside occasional face-to-face interactions in our outpatient office located in New Haven, Connecticut. Work Environment\n

The remote work setting provides you with the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively while delivering care to a motivated patient population. Our outpatient office in New Haven serves as an additional resource for in-person sessions and team collaboration. We operate seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM, with no on-call requirements, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be actively engaged in the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories and devise appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for our patients.

• Engage in crisis intervention and support management for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of our practice.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that focus on best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with recent research and advancements in trauma therapy to improve service delivery continuously.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Connecticut.

Preferred Experience\n

While we require at least a Bachelor’s degree and LPC licensure, we prefer candidates with:

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000, complemented by a SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified candidates. Additional benefits include:
