Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room

Location: Portland, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM (Evening Shift) CST

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong ability to perform under pressure in high-stress situations. Trauma experience is required, and a minimum of two years of travel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Handle instruments and equipment during surgery.
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain operating room supplies and equipment.
• Perform tasks with a focus on high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a trauma setting.
• CST certification is required.
• Experience in general, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, neuro, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, and endovascular is preferred.
