Work Environment

This full-time role is exclusively onsite at our rehabilitation facility, which boasts modern equipment and an inviting workspace designed to enhance the patient experience. You will serve in an open treatment area, allowing opportunities for interaction and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, creating an engaging atmosphere for both staff and patients. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, recognizing and fulfilling their individual goals and requirements.
• Maintain an optimal patient load, allowing for focused, high-quality individual care with one patient per hour.
• Administer therapeutic interventions designed for enhancing the range of motion, reducing pain, and improving physical function.
• Formulate tailored, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise programming.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that address each patient's unique needs and aspirations.
• Document patient progress accurately and comprehensively using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, monitor progress, and adjust treatments as necessary, ensuring transparent communication throughout the process.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare specialists to optimize patient care.
• Foster an encouraging environment that motivates patients to achieve their functional potential, independence, and a healthy lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily include patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. With a commitment to minimizing reliance on medications, you will employ non-surgical strategies to help clients navigate their road to recovery. You will empower individuals of varying ages and backgrounds to regain their strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise regimens tailored to specific patient needs.
• Knowledgeable in using EMR software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with diverse treatment modalities and emerging rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a capacity to motivate and engage patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

Radiance Physical Therapy offers an attractive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
