Job Description:

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, TX for a short-term contract opportunity supporting a high-volume AP environment. Candidates with Oracle Cloud or Oracle Fusion experience are strongly preferred, and exposure to APEX is a plus.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced workflows and have strong data entry accuracy processing large volumes of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

Process high-volume accounts payable invoices (100+ per day target)
Enter and code invoices within Oracle Cloud/Fusion
Execute payments via ACH, wire transfers, and manual checks
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues
Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries
Review employee expense reports
Support recurring payments and AP reporting
Assist with outstanding transactions requiring research and follow-up

Qualifications:

3+ years of accounts payable experience
Strong invoice processing and coding experience
Experience with Oracle (Cloud or Fusion preferred)
High-volume data entry experience (100-200 invoices/day preferred)
Exposure to APEX or similar systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily processing goals
Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Work Details:

Location: Houston, TX (100% on-site)
Schedule: Flexible start between 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Duration: 2-3 month contract, potential to extend
Pay: $26-$29/hour

Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
