Drs. Hauck & Bianchi PA is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join their team in Silver Spring, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians in a patient-focused practice where your skills and care truly make a difference every day. Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in the EHR
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply inventory
- Administer injections, draw blood, and perform basic lab procedures as directed
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals
- Handle prescription refill requests and prior authorizations under physician supervision
- Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-up care, and instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred
- CMA or RMA certification (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Prior clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong phlebotomy and vital signs skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered demeanor
