Work Environment\n

This role is conducted entirely via telehealth, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining high standards of care. You will be equipped with advanced digital tools and platforms to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, making it easy to reach clients in a comfortable and secure environment. Your work schedule will align with typical business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique goals, preferences, and challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective coping strategies and symptom management.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to each client’s treatment.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders, applying new knowledge to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your ability to connect with a diverse group of individuals facing various challenges will be crucial in fostering a supportive, safe, and engaging therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of evidence-based approaches to treating mood disorders, including CBT and DBT methodologies.

• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and healthcare providers.

• A proven track record of effective client outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on creating a rapport with clients from all backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
